Stevensons Florists can help you design perfect flowers for your style of wedding. We can advise you on flowers, themes and colours to achieve your dream. In store consultation is available and we offer a full range of Wedding Flowers including Reception Table and Church arrangements. As well as fresh flowers we do many Artificial Floral Wedding Flowers and also have Wishing Well’s available for hire.
It is a good idea to have some idea before you contact us of what style and colours in flowers you like and how many people will be in your wedding party. Pictures and samples are always helpful for us to help bring your ideas to fruition. We can show you pictures of our Wedding Work in store and always have the latest editions of Bridal Floral Magazines in store. We also understand that sometimes it can be difficult to get your vision exactly right by other people so we work with you until you feel we can produce exactly what you want before we ask you to make the booking with us.
The date of your wedding may also dictate what flowers are available and if you are getting married on Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day you will find the costing will be extremely expensive due to the demand of Flowers on these days. We actually do not accept any Wedding Bookings on these dates because we feel we cannot devote the time and care needed for a Wedding.
We do get asked for a "rough idea" on costing’s of Wedding Flowers, generally wedding flowers are priced per wedding due to flowers used, sizing of arrangements, time of the year, additions to bouquets etc. But as a guide, if you were looking to get a posy style Bridal Bouquet in roses and or mixed seasonal flowers you would expect to pay 200.00 to 220.00, Bridesmaids 150.00, Buttonholes at 12.00 as a starting point.
The most common question we get asked is "What Flowers are in Season?" So apart from Roses, Gerbera, Oriental and Asiatic Lily, Carnations and Dendrobium Orchids which are available year round refer to the list below for Queensland Seasonal Flowers
